Enjoy American folk songs, ballads and spirituals including Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Morton Gould’s American Salute, American Ballads for Orchestra and Spirituals for Strings. The concert will also feature members of the Hudson Valley Saxophone Orchestra and photographs of the Hudson River by Joseph Squillante projected over the orchestra.
